MySpace has pretty much taken over the Internet world, that is obvious. But there are numerous networking sites out there that many people are totally unaware of. Some of them are lame and not worth the time anyway, but I found a unique one that actually caught my attention, and I think it’s worth sharing with you.

-A networking site designed for, you guessed it, punk rockers. It’s quite similar to MySpace in that you can put music on your profile, post pictures, information, blogs, etc… There are different categories you can post yourself under from model, band, manager, or just a fan (which is a regular profile). You can also rate the members and it has top rated members, most visited profiles, etc..

When I found this webpage (it says I joined 8/6/2007), there were less than 900 members. I’ve watched it grow and grow to a decent amount (not anything compared to MySpace, of course, but the number of members is definitely steadily growing!).

You’ll find a lot less tools and annoying people on this site (although they are still there.. don’t worry!), and the music is definitely better and more original. You won’t hear the same Hellogoodbye, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Fallout Boy crap that you hear constantly on MySpace. There are some more lesser-known Hellcat Records bands on there that I’ve discovered, which I’m sure I would have never heard otherwise.

It’s definitely worth checking out, so give it a try! If you’re a MySpace junkie like many people out there, it may be another good cure for boredom or to pass the time. DO IT!
