Recently, Eternalis Records was nice enough to send me a copy of one of their new releases: A Tribute to 88 Fingers Louie. It’s a compilation of 88 Fingers Louie covers, and being that 88 FL is one of my all-time favorite bands, of course I thought this CD was awesome.

I definitely give it two thumbs up. The songs are done in goo taste- they’re not trying to sound exactly like 88 Fingers Louie, yet they aren’t butchering them beyond recognition. They each have their own flare attached to them, but with the original sound of 88 FL still present, I think that it was a great idea for al album and it turned out fantastic.

“This label is about supporting bands who I feel the world needs to hear. Not all Eternalis bands can tour because they’ve got a job or they’re studying. The few that can, do as much as they possibly are able to do. This label isn’t economically viable. This label is financially funded by you. I run this label because I believe in these bands.
