When Guitar Hero blasted into the homes of millions of people, I was kind of thrown off like… if these people can get addicted to pretending to play the guitar, why don’t they just buy one and actually learn? It’s one thing just, doing it for fun but then being are getting SO into it and committing so much time to it, I just think they should try out playing the actual guitar and learn something useful.

Slaaaaaaash.

I’ve heard that learning to play guitar isn’t all that difficult if you really want to; or comparatively at least. I know I was trying to learn to play drums and I just couldn’t commit enough hours in the day to it to actually learn anything substantial. A few beats here and there, but I couldn’t exactly start a band or anything!

Anyway, I think that people may assume it’s a little more difficult than it actually is to learn to play the guitar, but I think they should at least give it a realistic shot. You can buy a guitar for WAY cheaper than the damn video game.
