Posted by Admin in Without Goldenvoice and it’s main man, Gary Tovar, the Los Angeles punk scene would be nothing. Luckily, it’s been going more than 30 years strong and we can celebrate with a lineup unlike any I’ve ever seen before.
Three days of non stop punk rock with bands like the Descendents, Bad Religion, Youth Brigade, Social Distortion, the Vandals, the Dickies, Ill Repute, X, Adolescents, TSOL and more. HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THAT IS PUNK ROCK. This is fucking punk rock royalty if I’ve ever seen it. The Santa Monica Civic Center has probably never housed so many heavily tattooed, drunk 45 years olds in its existence! I was one lucky asshole to get to cover this and I am forever grateful. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better lineup (okay fine: INSERT THE DWARVES), so check out my photos and video from the weekend! FUCKKKKKK YESSSS.
