While many video games continue on and on, I’m wondering if Halo will end up following this trend.  There is a “Halo Wars” out, which I’m not that familiar with, but that still leaves room for a fourth Halo game, and so on…

I must say I am not as into the game as I was when I first began playing. It all started by playing as someone’s guest, and realizing I was horrible.  I mean, how could I have had any real expectations anyway? I had never played with an xbox before, and hadn’t really been playing video games since my Super Nintendo got busted up from a break in.

Little did I, or anyone else for that matter, know that I would at some point be playing my OWN game console with my own gamertag.. and not totally sucking!! :)  This was back in the day of Halo 2. I was quite proud of myself for learning the game, and I wasn’t the best, but people were definitely surprised that I was a chick and playing decent. I mean, this was also back when I was in college and since I had to wake up every morning at 5 a.m. for [rowing] practice, I couldn’t exactly spend my nights out at the bar, so it definitely kept me in on weeknights, which was good.

Halo 3

Anyway- I’ve always wanted to get into games like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty. One thing that has prevented me from running out and spending $60 on a brand new game is the fact that in a few months, another could come out and to “keep up” I’d have to go get the NEW one for another $60!  This was kind of my thing with Halo 2 and the original xbox, except that my old xbox (yes, the black, square kind) was hardly working anyway. I bought it used and was already “behind” you could say.. so I had to crack and get an xbox360.

Videogamesblogger.com has a “Secret Files” report on a Halo 4. I must say I’m still a little lost on the whole Halo Wars, Halo 4 thing.. I feel like they will be released extremely close together for being the same game, but hey, what do I know? Ha.

Growing up I played a ton of video games, but in my adult years I hadn’t really spent money on game consoles, games, game accessories, etc..  For some reason, just in recent years, I’m likely to set aside money FOR those things.. haha.. all so I can play video games with a bunch of 12 year old boys. Okay not with the boys, but against them I guess? Ha ha.. whatever. YES I have an xbox LIVE membership so I play “live” with the headset on. It’s half the fun! Plus, playing live lets you update maps and other crap that helps you “keep up” with the game.

So.. in conclusion… I really have no clue about Halo 4 except what the “bloggers” are saying which is pretty much.. not credible. It is my favorite video game though, so of course I will be buying the new one once it’s released.
