Okay.. I understand that there is a separation of church and state. Blah de blah. We aren’t supposed to have the Ten Commandments up in schools, you’re not supposed to wear religious shirts (like with Jesus on them) to work, and all that. But how is having an American flag up, offensive? It really makes me sick to my stomach. Seriously. The flag has NO correlation to religion, so it should NOT be considered as offensive or anything of the sort.

A Texas woman was told to take her flag down from her office in a hospital because it was “offensive.” Why? WHY?

“I got into work, I was met by my supervisor and told that there had been multiple complaints, that people found the flag very offensive and it had been taken down,” McLucas told FOXNews.com. “I went to the office to retrieve it and found the flag wrapped around the pole, sitting in the corner on the ground. I was speechless.”

McLucas is a patriotic citizen; her husband and both sons have served in the military, and her daughter is currently deployed to Iraq. It just makes me so sick that we can’t even express being proud to be an American, but yet any other country be express being proud of being from there and living here. We are the “land of the free,” supposedly, yet most of us aren’t free to do jack shit. Miss California’s situation is a perfect example. She simply expressed her opinion, an opinion which she shares with our current president and half of America, yet she is being repremanded for it. Odd, isn’t it? Sounds about right: Hypocritical America.
