0SideOneDummy Signs TITLE FIGHT
SideOneDummy is primarily known for being an indie/punk label, but they’re expanding their horizon’s by signing hardcore kids, Title Fight. Â If you aren’t familiar with them, don’t fret! They’re a fairly new band, but they were once managed by hardcore legend Scott Vogel of Terror so you gotta give ’em some cred (currently managed by Missy Worth)! They hail from Kingston, PA (I hope they’re STEELERS fans!), and they’re about to be thrown into more tours, new albums and more fans! Check them out!
Straight from SideOneDummy’s website:
“Los Angeles, Ca. January 19, 2011. TITLE FIGHT (Kingston, PA) has signed to SideOneDummy Records and is planning the release of their  debut album in late spring of this year. The album was produced by Walter Schreifels (Gorilla Biscuits, Rival Schools, Quicksand) and Engineered by Will Yip at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA. The foursome tracked the album in two weeks in December, 2010.
TITLE FIGHT brings a refreshing new sound to the hardcore scene taking influence from bands like Seaweed, Jawbreaker, Texas Is The Reason and Hot Water Music. With an incredible DIY ethic and a true love for hardcore, Ned Russin (Vocals/Bass), Jamie Rhoden (Vocals/Guitar), Shane Moran (Guitar) and Ben Russin (Drums) are soon to be leaders in the next wave of great American hardcore.
The band has been touring the U.S., Europe and Japan for the past 2 years in support of bands like H2O, Bayside, New Found Glory, Four Year Strong and Set Your Goals. Their current EP “The Last Thing You Forget†was released in 2009 on Run for Cover Records. Their first EP “Kingston†was released in 2008.
The new album is yet to be titled and still in its final stage of production. The band is also planning their first headlining tour. Stay tuned for more details and music coming soon!”
