I know that many of you probably don’t know what communism and socialism actually mean so.. I’m going to give a little vocabulary lesson!

Socialism

-Refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and the creation of an egalitarian society. Modern socialism originated in the late nineteenth-century working class political movement. Karl Marx posited that socialism would be achieved via class struggle and a proletarian revolution which represents the transitional stage between capitalism and communism.

Socialists mainly share the belief that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth among a small segment of society that controls capital and creates an unequal society. All socialists advocate the creation of an egalitarian society, in which wealth and power are distributed more evenly, although there is considerable disagreement among socialists over how, and to what extent this could be achieved.

Socialism is not a discrete philosophy of fixed doctrine and program; its branches advocate a degree of social interventionism and economic rationalization, sometimes opposing each other. Another dividing feature of the socialist movement is the split on how a socialist economy should be established between the reformists and the revolutionaries. Some socialists advocate complete nationalization of the means of production, distribution, and exchange; while others advocate state control of capital within the framework of a market economy. Social democrats propose selective nationalization of key national industries in mixed economies combined with tax-funded welfare programs; Libertarian socialism (which includes Socialist Anarchism and Libertarian Marxism) rejects state control and ownership of the economy altogether and advocates direct collective ownership of the means of production via co-operative workers’ councils and workplace democracy.

Look, people.. would you rather be in control of your money, or do you want the government to be in control of your money? Figure it out. All these liberals think this crap is such a great idea, until it’s applied to THEM and not someone else, then all of a sudden it’s unfair.. *eyeroll*

Communism

-A socioeconomic structure that promotes the establishment of an egalitarian, classless society based on common ownership of the means of production and property in general. According to Marxism, communism is the final stage in human society and is both classless and stateless. Leninists have attempted to produce communist societies by setting up political parties, which in some cases have become governments. These attempts have never produced the “pure” communist societies envisoned by Marx, and have led to totalitarian states.

Communism is usually considered to be a branch of socialism, a broad group of social and political ideologies, which draws on the various political and intellectual movements with origins in the work of theorists of the Industrial Revolution and the French Revolution. Communism attempts to offer an alternative to the problems believed to be inherent with capitalist economies and the legacy of imperialism and nationalism. Communism states that the only way to solve these problems is for the working class, or proletariat, to replace the wealthy bourgeoisie, which is currently the ruling class, in order to establish a peaceful, free society, without classes, or government. The dominant forms of communism, such as Leninism, Stalinism, Maoism and Trotskyism are based on Marxism, but non-Marxist versions of communism (such as Christian communism and anarchist communism) also exist.

A good, smart, friend of mine posted a recent bulletin, attached with some facts about Obama and Biden that many of you are probably unaware of. And I agree with him when he says, “His associations with known terrorists, his socialist ideals, his constant flip-flopping on numerous issues….” is reason enough not to vote for him. However, he has tricked most of American it seems so… I can only hope that enough people can think for themselves and see the truth.

Here a few things everyone should know (but trust me, CNN, MSNBC, MTV, etc.. will NEVER reveal this stuff…)
His own VP candidate Joe Biden has said:
Aug. 2007 on Obama’s experience: “I think he can be ready, but right now I don’t believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.”

Aug. 2007 on Obama’s threat to go into Pakistan after Al Qaeda: “The way to deal with it is not to announce it, it’s to do it. . . . The last thing you want to do is telegraph to the folks in Pakistan that we’re about to violate . . . their sovereignty.”

Aug. 2007 on Obama’s pledge to meet with leaders of rogue nations: “Would I make a blanket commitment to meet unconditionally with the leaders of each of those countries within the first year I was president? Absolutely, positively no.”

Sept. 2007 on Obama’s Iraq plan: “My impression is he thinks that if we leave, somehow the Iraqis are going to have an epiphany. I’ve seen zero evidence of that.”

So yeah, there ya go, people. The “future” VP as many people are wanting, but it’s only because they are misguided and don’t know the truth. They only see what the media want them to. Here is a huge one that everyone should take notice of:

Equality in opportunity, not in results.

…if the definition of socialism sounds familiar that’s because you have heard these words as Obama’s economic plan for us…

SCARY!! Vote McCain. He wants what is truly best for us, not just for him. Obama just wanted to be notched in the history books. McCain already IS in the history books as a great, war hero. He isn’t looking for fame or more money, he’s looking to better this country, and I truly believe that Obama will only hurt us. I think this country will be laughable if we elect such an inexperienced man as President. Think about it… other countries already laugh at us for whatever else, why fuel their fire? Yes, you’ll hear that Europeans think we should vote Obama, but that’s because they’re not here and don’t know what’s really going on, PLUS they want us to be weak so they can be a stronger, better country. And well.. they like making fun of us, unfortunately. I’m never one to enjoy being the laughing stock of the world.. and neither should you. Obama is bred to be a politician, he doesn’t actually care about the everyday worker. He acts like he relates to you, but he has nothing in common with the people that think he’s so great. He’s going to tax the hell out of you, and as we’ve already discussed, redistribution of wealth is a HORRIBLE IDEA! Work for you money. Simple as that. Do what’s right for you, your family, and this country….

 VOTE MCCAIN!!!!!!
