Kentucky gets a pretty bad rep for most things. As someone that has been born and raised here, I can defend well.. most of them. Ha ha, yeah there are quite a few rednecks and whatnot, but it depends on what area you’re in. However, we DO wear shoes, not everyone has kids at 17, and a lot of us DO in fact go to college!  (blah blah blahhhh)

WELL, SOAPnet is premiering a new reality series TONITE called “Southern Belles” which follows five single women in Louisville, showing their day to day lives and how they break the Kentucky stereotypes.

I doubt the show will seem too interesting to people outside the area, but especially because I live here and find it interesting that there’s going to be an entire reality show based on following the lives of five women in this city… yeah.. I may have to actually learn what channel SOAPnet is! ha ha.. but yeah so, if you check it out it will definitely show you another side of Kentucky that many of you are unaware of!!
