The link above shows some charts about voters (race, people in the service, gender, etc..). Personally, I am really annoyed that people accuse voters of not liking Obama simply because of race. Let’s face it: He’s going to get more votes because he’s black, versus people that will not vote for him because he’s black. It’s a huge, aggrivating point that people keep saying, “I’m voting for him because he’s black!” When in reality, if they saw all races as being equal, they wouldn’t let race even be an issue when voting.
Obviously, the fact that he’s black doesn’t make him any more or less qualified to be president, so why is it even an issue?? If someone were to say, “I’m voting for McCain because he’s white,” they would be called racist, yet when someone says the exact thing about Obama, they aren’t. Hmm… doesn’t make any sense to me! Race is race, whether you’re black, white, yellow, purple, whatever. People can be racists against caucasions, but they aren’t seen as racist. Someone please explain to me why. Like I said, if you truly aren’t racist, you see al as being equal. Tisk, tisk.. you’d think half his voters didn’t get through elementary school with the kind of justifications they’re giving. It’s a shame and really, really sad.
