Alkaline Trio to Release Past Live Recording to Celebrate 21st Anniversary
Alkaline Trio is celebrating their 21st anniversary with the release of Past Live. This recording will be available in a limited edition vinyl bundle box set and will be available for a four-week pre-order that ends February 9th.
Past Live is live recordings from their 2014 four-night residency at the Metro in Chicago. Spanning two decades, eight albums and a lot of singles, splits and EPs, you could say Alkaline Trio has built a reputation as a fan favorite. The band formed in 1996 by Matt Skiba and debuted with Goddamnit in 1998. Since then, they have experienced great success and evolved as a band, and WE HAVE LOVED ALL OF IT.
“It’s taken a long time to get it out, and it’s hard to even put a finger on why,” says Dan Andriano, “But it’s finally time.”
