Alpha & Omega Post Studio Update
Alpha & Omega are currently recording their Bridge Nine debut album right here in sunny-ass Los Angeles. The new record is being produced by New Found Glory’s Chad Gilbert with engineer Kyle Black. Luis Hernandez (Alpha & Omega vocalist) said they are working on ten new songs and going about recording them…
“… in a new way, taking it one day at a time. We’re recording guitar, bass and vocals for a different song every day and making sure each song gets the right amount of attention.” He continued, “I can’t wait for people to hear these new songs. I love our past two records but these songs have something different about them. The writing and recording processes are so different from what we are used to and and have really brought a fresh new vibe within the band.”
The band formed back in 2007 and are heavily influenced by hardcore acts like the Cro Mags, Crowbar, All Out War, Stigmata, Integrity, Leeway and Metallica. Their debut EP dropped a year later via 6131 and their full length, Life Swallower, followed soon after. They have since tours the world and these bungholes do not plan on stopping anytime soon. The band will be touring North America throughout April and May so check out the dates below and be sure to check them out live if you’re around.
