Anarbor may have been signed right out of high school, but they’re lyrics are well beyond their years. After their EP came out, a full-length has been high anticipated.. and they’re debut album is almost here! After giving it a whirl, I can definitely say that I don’t think fans will be let down by this one. With bright tracks like Drugstore Diet and Gypsy Woman, they have strayed from their original sound; yet songs like Useless show us a different side to these boys. From beginning to end, you won’t be bored with The Words You Don’t Swallow.
Hopeless Records is fairly consistent with it’s safe sound as some may say, but Anarbor is definitely worth checking out. They’re catchy, positive and have a fresh sound that I think a lot of music fans, of ANY age, can appreciate. While Blink 182 is a huge influence for the band, they have a more mass appeal (not quite as fast-paced punk, but definitely some appealing pop punk in there). Be sure to grab the album April 20th (available now for pre-order) AND catch the boys on tour now with This Providence, The Audition, The Bigger Lights and Artist vs. Poet (not to mention they will be on the entire 2010 Warped Tour)!!
