Bad Religion Shares Demo Version of “Lose Your Head”
Last week, Bad Religion released a demo version of their fan favorite, Lose Your Head, originally released on their 2019 album, Age of Reason. This demo version features a faster temp and alternative lyrics that give fans a unique glimpse into the band’s creative process.
Brett Gurewitz and Greg Graffin co-wrote the song together at Gurewiz’s home studio in Pasadena, CA. Producer Carlos de la Garza was brought and suggested trying a slower version of the song. When they went into the Sunset Sound studio to record the final tracks, they decided to record both and choose later. While it was a tough decision, the band ultimately went with the slower version for the album.
