In a music scene that seems to be dominated by dudes that look like chicks, I am thankful for bands like Bleeding Through, who continue to make music that is nothing but one thing: METAL. Their upcoming, self-titled album drops April 13, 2010, and I’m here to tell you that you need to get this shit! If you’re a classic metal head or just a music lover, you need to check this album out.
When I first listened to it, I definitely caught hints of metal Gods, Slayer, in the sound. I can’t say the originality is all there, but I have huge respect for bands that don’t wane from their roots and try to conform to what is popular today. This album makes you want to bang your head and maybe push someone, which lets me know that it’s a keeper! 🙂
Since 2001, Bleeding Through has been giving our wangs a metal sucking and we LOVE IT. They’re definitely continuing the trend and I can only hope for more in the future!
Go grab Bleeding Through’s new, self-titled album, available tomorrow, April 13th!!
