Built to Spill to Release New Album
Built to Spill has announced they will release their eighth studio album entitled Untethered Moon. The record will come out April 21st and pre-orders are available now. This marks the band’s first album recorded with new band members Steve Gere (drums) and Jason Albertini (bass), who join vocalist/guitarist Doug Martsch with guitarists Brett Netson and Jim Roth.
The album will be exclusively FIRST available on April 18th [in honor of Record Store Day] at all good Independent Records Stores. In addition, it will be available in a limited quantity of transparent blue vinyl randomly distributed into the initial run of pressings. Also, pre-orders include an instant download of “Living Zoo” from Untethered Moon.
The band also has confirmed tour dates which include Coachella. Check out the dates below along with the album art and track list.
