0Check Out: FAT MAMBA (punk band from Finland)
As I’ve mentioned before, I get a lot of emails from lesser-known bands seeking extra promotion with news posts and whatnot, and it’s hard to get around to all of them, but I really do try! It’s not to say that great bands write me and don’t get posted about, I’m sure it happens, but I must say that when I listened to Fat Mamba I felt inclined to write about them. This band reminds me of a German punk band, Dolf, that I first heard about six years ago when I was interning at Vagrant Records and going through their demo submissions. While they [Fat Mamba] aren’t doing anything new or groundbreaking, they’re a classic sound that is fun to listen to, so I think you should check them out if you have a minute.
Fat Mamba’s debut full-length album, Bipoclarity, came out a few months ago (Feb 2016). Check out the album art and track list below.
