CJ Ramone Signs to Fat Wreck Chords
CJ Ramone has joined the Fat Wreck Chords family just shy of his 25th anniversary into punk rock’s “royal family” as some would say. September 20th, Fat Wreck will be releasing CJ’s single Understand Me?, which has been described as a head-bopping melodic garage-punk track. When asked if the single was written with someone in mind, CJ commented:
“Every girl I’ve ever dated thought I wrote hateful songs about them, or I’ve had friends like, ‘Are you trying to say that to me?’ It’s nice to put it out there without explanation and let people take it however they want.”
Alongside the punk rock legend will be Dan Root and Steve Soto from The Adolescents and David Hidalgo Jr. of Social Distortion, the same team that he pulled together for his solo debut in 2012. You can check out the album art and premiere title track now! Pre-orders are also available.
