Counterparts Debut New Track off Upcoming Album, “Tragedy Will Find Us”
After almost ten years, Ontario-based hardcore band Counterparts is gearing up for a new album. The record will be the band’s fourth release and is called Tragedy Will Find Us, set to drop July 24th via Pure Noise Records. In honor of the upcoming release, the band has teamed up with AltPress to premiere a new track called Tragedy. You can stream the track now.
Tragedy Will Find Us is said to be a record of redemption that marks a significant turning point. Vocalist Brendan Murphy commented: “The album represented [me] at rock bottom with nowhere to go but up.”
The intensity of that sentiment can be found throughout the record’s eleven songs. The band will head out on a month long tour with Every Time I Die, Real Friends, Gnarwolves, Brigades and Gatherers. Check out the dates below.
