Dropkick Murphys Donate $25k To Victim’s Family
Yesterday, I posted about the accident involving Boston’s Dropkick Murphys that ended in a fatality (read it here). Dalton Lane Clark, 23 years old, was struck by the band’s tour bus and killed while crossing Interstate 35 north of Austin. It’s unknown as to whether it was a suicide or not, the victim’s family said he was simply on his way home and trying to cross the highway.
The family of Dalton has started a GoFundMe page in an effort to raise money. Dalton leaves behind a 19 month old son, Aiden, and a wife.

The Dropkick Murphys quickly donated to the GoFundMe campaign, giving a generous $25,000. Ken Casey of DKM commented:
“Our thoughts and prayers our with you. God bless you all in your time of need. We are so sorry our paths have crossed in this tragic manor. Ken Casey Dropkick Murphys”
The website would not accept a donation so large, so the band split it into separate payments. If you are able to, please donate to the GoFundMe and help the family of this tragic accident.
