Dropkick Murphys Involved in Fatal Tour Bus Accident
The Dropkick Murphys had to cancel their Tulsa stop of the tour due to a horrible accident. A pedestrian ran across a highway in Austin, TX and was struck by their tour bus and killed. The band released a statement via their Facebook page:
“As much as it pains us to miss a show and we truly apologize for it, we’d like to stop and acknowledge that a man has lost his life. Please keep him and any family he might have in your prayers.”
All the ticket buyers for the Tulsa show will be fully refunded and the band is expected to continue the rest of the tour. Visit 7News Boston WHDH-TV for more info.
