The Dwarves Will Release a 7″ on Fat Wreck Chords
It seems like it was a long-time coming but it’s finally here! The Dwarves will be releasing a 7″ on Fat Wreck Chords. The album is due out late Fall and will feature an expected naked cover (as you see) and is titled Gentleman Blag. Guest vocals by Dexter Holland (Offspring) and Rex Everything (Nick Oliveri) were recorded along with the rest of the record by Andy Carpenter at Brand Bjork’s (Kyuss) studio. This record will feature all of the Dwarves including HeWhoCannotBeNamed and Salt Peter from the original lineup. Frontman Blag had this to say:
‘The song “Kings of the World” reminded me of that Fat Wreck Chords sound-straightforward punk, big harmonies and lyrics about social issues. In other words, it was just the opposite of “Gentleman Blag,” which is about how big my cock is. Combined with a stoner style track from Nick Oliveri and another song so short it’s over before it starts, I thought we had a perfect Fat 7″!’
