Dwight Yoakam Signs to Warner Bros. Records
International country superstar Dwight Yoakam just signed to Warner Bros. Records / Reprise. The Grammy-aware winning singer and actor also released a cover of Who’ll Stop the Rain originally by Creedence Clearwater digitally today. You can buy it now!
While Dwight is mostly known as a singer/songwriter, he has some acting chops as well! I remember him in Panic Room (2002), but he also has a reoccurring role on CBS’s show, Under the Dome. On the show, he plays Lyle Chumley, a barbershop owner that sometimes breaks into song! Okay well, breaks into song at least once.
He has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, earned 12 gold albums and 9 platinum albums, including the triple-platinum This Time. His list of achievements in the music industry goes on and on, and on top of that he has appeared in over 35 films and made numerous guest appearances on TV shows. YOU GO, DWIGHT.
