0Enter Shikari Streams New Track AND I LOVE IT
UK’s Enter Shikari is a band that I have watched rise in this industry. Sometime in late 2008 I believe, I saw them open up for The Bled and Alesana at a small show in Louisville, KY. Now, I’m watching them headline and sell out venues in LA, usually blowing the audience’s mind with each amazing live performance. They didn’t appear out of nowhere but instead, continued to make sharp, fun and unique albums and then here they are today. Now on Hopeless Records, they are releasing The Mindsweep, set to drop January 20, 2015.
Check out the premiere of the track Last Garrison, recorded at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire last spring, produced by Dan Weller and mixed by Jeremy Wheatley.
Frontman Rou Reynolds commented on the track:
“Life can often seem like a tumultuous onslaught of ups and downs; good and bad; euphoric and arduous. Our circumstances can change in a flicker of an eyelid. Sometimes it’s beneficial to take a step back from everything and appreciate the honour that we’re still alive.”
You can also stream the track here and you’ll get an instant download of the song with every iTunes pre-order. It’s been three years since the band release A Flash Flood of Colour, which entered the UK charts at #1 and led the band on tours all over the world. Enter Shikari will hit the road again to kick off 2015, so stay tuned for those tour dates to be release soon.
