Greg Ginn’s New Band at Coachella 2012
Best known as one of the punk rock pioneers of BLACK FLAG, Greg Ginn will be gracing the hippie infested Coachella crowd this year with his new electro-instrumental project, Greg Ginn and The Royal We.
Greg Ginn and The Royal We has added a handful of California dates leading up to his Coachella performances. The debut album, We Are Amused, dropped last November on SST Records and Rolling Stone called it “Black Sabbath scoring a Godzilla movie.”
With Ginn doing guitar, bass, theramin and synthesizer, he’s a goddamn one man musical masterpiece. He exhausted his Mac with the help of amp racks and speakers to finish off the project.
