Ignite Hits The Studio + New Tour Dates
So Cal’s hardcore/punk band Ignite have entered the studio to record their fifth studio album. The band is tracking with producer Cameron Webb (Alkaline Trio, Strung Out), who also worked on their last record Our Darkest Days (Century Media Records), at Maple Sound Studios in Orange County, CA.
Ignite will also be hitting the road for a headlining tour to supper the new album. Bassist Brett Rasmussen commented:
“Teaming up with Cameron Webb again is the perfect situation for Ignite and for this album. We have a level of trust and respect for each other that has come from years of working together. He is basically a member of the band at this point.”
The last band’s record was 2006’s Darkest Days and it’s the first record since vocalist Zoli Teglas’ left punk icons, Pennywise. A label has not yet been announced for the album.
