Mercy Music has some new singles out, so I wanted to reach out and ask the band a few questions. Be sure to check out their new music videos linked at the bottom! 🙂
PWV: Give me a quick synopsis of the overall theme of the latest album.
MM: I’d say this album is about your life falling apart/coming to terms with your greatest fears, growing from those experiences, and hopefully using them to become a better person.
PWV: Bill Stephenson produced the album; what is your favorite work by him?
That’s really tough to narrow down. The top three for me currently would be Exister by Hot Water Music, Lady, Melody by Audio Karate and Everything Sucks by Descendants.
PWV: What band is no longer together would you love to see make one more album?
This morning the first band that comes to mind would be the Exploding Hearts.
PWV: Do you have a favorite city to play in besides Vegas?
It’s always nice to get back to the East Bay.
PWV: What is something you feel like you can always guarantee to your fans? Something that Mercy Music considers a priority.
I think we can always guarantee brutal honesty, and a great live show.
PWV: What’s next? Focusing on tours, the next album? Do tell!
I’m always writing, but right now the priority is definitely staying as busy as possible, supporting the record.
