0Jello Biafra Announces New Album for April 2013
Our favorite Dead Kennedy (or the only one most people know by name), Jello Biafra just announced that his new band, Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine (jesus….) will be dropping a new album April 2, 2013.
You can preview one of the tracks HERE.
I like it already just for the fact “White People” is in the title. Alternative Tentacles is putting the record out, which is the band’s second full length. While many side projects sound totally different from their predecessor (think: The Chuck Dukowski Sextet), DK fans will not be disappointed to hear that Jello hasn’t strayed far from his roots. The lineup retains the double-barreled guitar attack of Ralph Spight (Victims Family, Freak Accident) and Kimo Ball (Freak Accident, Griddle, Mol Triffid). They are joined this time by bassist Andrew Weiss (Rollins Band, Ween, Butthole Surfers, and more) and drummer Paul Della Pelle (Helios Creed, Nik Turner’s Space Ritual, and Philly HC legends Ruin).
So shut up and check this shit out. Assholes. Oh and look at Jello’s ‘almost’ twitter account!
