It’s not every day that I fly across the country for a band, but when four dudes play exactly the kind of music I want to listen to and they can’t come to me, I guess I’ll have to fucking go to them! KarbomB has blown me away with their gritty, solid-as-fuck tunes which I first heard on their Nose Before Toes release. Warbird Entertainment really hit the punk rock jackpot with these dudes and I expect nothing but great things in their future. Athens, Georgia and the surrounding areas are lucky as fuck to get to see these dudes play on a regular basis, and I highly look forward to them hitting the road and catching more shows!
I spent a few days with these guys and I have nothing but joy in my cold, black heart from the experience. I trekked with them to Augusta for a show at The Loft and then back to their hometown of Athens to Caledonia Lounge for what turned out to be my favorite night of the weekend! Hanging with the band for a few days really reminded me of what I miss about the South. I can’t push enough that if you have the chance, go see them live and support a great band doing fucking great things.
