Lemmy and John Bradbury (The Specials) Pass Away

It’s been a rough morning for music fans all over the world as the ever-legendary Ian Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister of Motörhead passes away (I’m pretty sure most of us thought this man was going to outlive every one of us), alongside John Bradbury, drummer of The Specials.

You can read more about Lemmy and Bradbury’s passing on BBC.  Lemmy was 70 and was two days fresh off of a cancer diagnoses. He has recorded 22 albums and has definitely made a mark in the music industry. Who are we going to look for at The Rainbow now? Ron Jeremy? NO ONE WANTS THAT.  Almost every time I was there, Lemmy was in the corner in his same chair and while that seems like a minuscule detail in the impact he’s had on so many things, it’s something that I am bummed about not being able to see anymore.

I’m glad both of these men had the chance to have that one last holiday with their friends and family, but the world was definitely shaken this morning to the news of their passing. RIP to both of you, gentleman!
