LIZARD SKYNARD Releases Debut Album
Besides his obviously intriguing outward appearance, Erik Sprague (aka, The Lizard Man) is also a doctoral candidate in Philosophy and frontman of the experimental rock group, Lizard Skynard. Â He has undergone over 700 hours of tattoo work to cover his entire body in resemblance to that of a lizard. He also has the word “FREAK” across his chest… Â I think it’s safe to say that subtle is the last word to describe this man.
Sprague is also an author and about to be a wax figure in Orlando’s Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum, it’s really no surprise that he’s dove head first into the music world as well. Â Lizard Skynard is an obsure, metal sound similar to Clutch, Nine Inch Nails and Mastaon. Â Rest assured, they’ll be touring in support of their debut album, which is set to be released October 19, 2010.
