When you think of veterans of the hardcore scene, it’s pretty much impossible for Madball not to come to mind. Since the late 80’s, Madball has been tearing up the hardcore scene, and while they’ve had significant member changes since their incarnation, vocalist Freddy Cricien has stayed constant. It was a privilege to be able to speak to such a respected individual, and I highly recommend listening to what this man has to say!
I was unable to make any of the Los Angeles tour dates so we had a skype date! We dove into everything from his hip hop career to his opinion on the current hardcore scene. I was able to send Chad Elder to shoot Madball’s set at the Key Club, so be sure to check out his photos/video from the show!
