3Make Do and Mend Interview
Make Do and Mend
Mike O. – Guitar
James C. – Guitar and Vocals
Mikey P. – Bass
Matt C. – Drums
If you haven’t been keeping up with Hartford’s Make Do and Mend (Paper and Plastic/Panic Records), you’re missing out. Â They were named one of AP’s Top 100 Bands You Need to Know in 2011, and through extensive touring, they’ve already gained a huge fan base with only one full length under their belt. Â While it seems like they’ve been going non stop, things aren’t slowing down for these boys. Â With their mix of hardcore/punk rock, they are reminiscent of bands like A Wilhelm Scream and another new band I looooove, Red City Radio. Â Their hard work and passion for this music are merely a few attributes this band carries that many others lack. Â They’re definitely a group of dudes to keep an eye on this year and hopefully for years to come!
I talked to brothers James (vocals) and Matt (drums) before their show at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA. Â We discussed the new album, upcoming tours, day jobs and rubbing knobs. Â Okay maybe not the last part, but all the others are in there plus more, so check it out!!
