Mastodon Nominated For “Best Metal Performance” Grammy
Being nominated for a Grammy is pretty fucking rad but it’s definitely nothing new for the boys of Mastodon! This marks the band’s third grammy nomination, this time for “Best Metal Performance:High Road” from their new album, Once More ‘Round The Sun. Check out the official track video below:
They were nominated in 2007 and 2012 both in the Best Metal Performance category before. Their new album, Once More ‘Round The Sun, was released June 24, 2014 and peaked number one on Billboard Rock, Hard Rock, Tastemakers and Alternative Album charts.
