0Mastodon Reveals Some Shit About Their New Album
Rock icons Mastodon have announced more details on their upcoming album, ‘Round the Sun. This is the band’s sixth studio album and the follow up to their 2011 release, The Hunter. The record will drop June 24th via Reprise Records. It was recorded in Nashville with Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, Deftones, Foo Fighters, and Alice In Chains). You can pre-order the record now. The first single from the record, High Road, will be available for digital download with every pre-order!
June 24th, a Deluxe 2LP vinyl edition of ‘Round the Sun will be available, which will feature two discs pressed onto 180g black vinyl housed in a quadruple gatefold vinyl jacket. The artwork is by renown American artist Skinner, plus a CD of the complete album.
Mastodon’s latest tour kicked off the other day with Gojira and Kvelertak. Dates include Rock On The Range Festival on May 18th and Bonnaroo on June 13th. Check out all the tour dates below.
