0Michael C. Hall (Dexter, Six Feet Under, SAFE) Has a BAND!
Michael C. Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Lazarus), Peter Yanowitz (The Wallflowers, Morningwood) and Matt Katz-Bohen (Blondie, Cyndi Lauper) announced they have formed an indie0trio called Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum. You can listen to their new track HERE and anticipate their upcoming EP set to release this Spring.
Hall spoke to Billboard recently about the new album, Come Talk to Me, and describes the new single as something you might hear in “[a] dystopian prison camp, where the prisoners were kept under control by being given psychedelic drugs,” … “And then they have dance parties… raves all night. Occasional raves,” adds Katz-Bohen.
The band played a sold out show at Mercury Lounge (NYC) and Debbie Harry surprised them on stage to sing Happy Birthday to Hall. They’re returning to the Mercury Lounge March 12th and you can buy tickets now.
Hall, Yanowitz and Katz-Bohen decided to form the band after first working together on the set of the Broadway smash-hit Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Follow the band on social media below.
