Morning Glory Interview [video] + live photos/vid
YOUR CURRENT BALANCE IS $6.66. I was so fucking stoked to get to talk with Morning Glory, especially fresh off the release of their first record in ten years, Poets Were My Heroes (which happened to make the number one spot of my Top 10 Albums of 2012 list). The band has also joined the Fat Wreck Chords roster. YeahhHHHHHHH.
The show was originally supposed to be at the Blue Star Cafe in downtown Los Angeles, but when I arrived, cops were hovering around the doors and not letting anyone in. While I’m all like “WTF MANG” the cops informed me they were shutting down the show due to lack of permits via the venue. Within an hour or so, shit was moved to a venue 40 minutes away in Canoga Park to a bar called Scotland Yard. Oh and when I say venue, I mean a bar. I’m not sure if the bar really has shows or not, but I personally have not been to a show there and I am a show monger that seems to go everywhere so… there’s that. Anyway, it made for an even more memorable evening and the show was fuckin kick ass.
