Music Video Teaser: Eken is Dead

Partnering with Burning Rose Studios and Guerrero Design (the outfit that brought you The Black Pacific’s video for The System) South Bay’s EKEN IS DEAD is set to release the second video supporting 2011’s What Lies In The Mirror with Face Value on Friday, July 13, 2012.

In addition to a very incendiary vision straight from the psyche of emmy award winning director Steve Guerrero, the video features Denise Borders of punkworldviews.com and Felony Records head honcho, Felony Ron McIntyre both portraying very provocative characters in roles unlike anything you have ever seen them before.

Local fans and friends got an early screening of the video on Tuesday, July 3rd at a packed house at The Lighthouse Cafe in Hermosa Beach for singer Chris Eken’s birthday show. Those who missed the release party are encouraged to check out the band’s instagram profile (@ekenisdead) as the band releases stills from the video everyday leading up to what’s being dubbed as #FacevalueFriday13th and by heading over to punkworldviews.com on Friday, July 13, 2012 to get a look at the video for themselves.

Check out the screen grabs below and come back to PWV for the official video release on Friday!
