New Funeral For a Friend Album
There are many bands that I’m hot and cold with; Funeral For a Friend is definitely one of them! I’ve liked them for quite a while, and then as most bands so, they released a more “radio friendly” sounding album on a major label that made me want to puke (“Tales Don’t Tell Themselves”).
However- they are now releasing a Greatest Hits album that I am looking forward to getting! Yea! 🙂
Funeral For a Friend
The album is called: Your History is Mine: 2002-2009 and it has four brand new songs, along with some of the most popular tracks. The album is set to release on September 28th, with the new single, Wrench set to release September 14th.

Okay so I can’t stand that song “Into Oblivion” but I guess it was popular.. grrrr..
Anyway- I feel like these guys are fairly popular, I mean obviously they have great success in this industry, but I also feel they’re somewhat of an unknown band to many people in the US. I only have a handful of friends that really listen to them, and it’s a shame because their old stuff is really great. They’re good musicians and Matthew Davis has an amazing voice, you’ve just gotta check them out if you haven’t already, and this new greatest hits album would be a good place to start because you’ll get to hear a chunk of their good stuff, plus a few new tracks as well.
