No Sleep Records Signs Old Lines (crust punk)
Baltimore based band, Old Lines, has just announced that they’ve signed with No Sleep Records, an independent record label out of Huntington Beach, CA. They are currently working on their next album which is expected to be out later this year.
Old Lines formed in 2010 by ex-Pulling Teeth guitarist Mitch Roemer and drummer Jake Berry. After going through numerous musicians, they brought on Pat Martin on bass and Matt Taylor on vocals.
Regarding their lyrics, the band is purely on a political and social agenda, singing about things like political corruption, capitalism, social and environmental injustices. You can listen to Old Lines on their Facebook page.
