NOFX to Release Lost Episodes of Backstage Passport
Back in 2008, NOFX released an 8-part TV docu-series called NOFX: Backstage Passport. The series followed the band on the road and made for some interesting television. Some of the shows on that tour were even cancelled due to the madness they brought. Over the next four years, NOFX set out to make up for the several cancelled shows in Mexicao, Peru and Columbia and hit just as many speed bumps as they did the first time. With their second attempts, cameras were with them for every moment including inner-band meltdowns, shady promoters, tear gas, fires, drugs, an 8.8 earthquake and, of course, riot cops.
August 21st, Fat Wreck Chords is releasing Backstage Passport 2, which will include the original feature-length documentary on a two-disc set that includes two lost episodes (Australia and Eastern Europe). Don’t miss this one! The band is also hitting the road for the Fat Wrecked tour, which seems to be one of the greatest lineups of all time.
