It’s no wonder the Nude Pube Banglers use an acronym in cryptic font on the cover of their latest album with Chorus of One Records, Juggernaut; despite their atrocious name, these guys are pretty enjoyable. Out of Oslo, they bring a healthy fusion of hardcore and heavy punk that is tastefully supplemented by the occasional blues influence. This mish mash of sound and style from song to song can start to feel a bit like musical ADD, but their transitions flow together seamlessly and their intensity is definitely a constant throughout the record that binds it together.

With this album, NPB flirts with the danger of creating a disjointed and unbalanced listening experience by mixing so many styles. However, their efforts were well worth the risk, as they have created a unique experience in Juggernaut that keeps the ears at attention, and only wanting more.
