Of Legends is blasting us with their debut album, Stranded, out on Season of Mist at the end of this month! Managed by Dillinger Escape Plan’s founding member, Ben Weinman, this band isn’t fucking around. They are, by far, one of my favorites on the Season of Mist roster. Don’t miss this shit!!

The album starts off a little slow with the intro of Nothing Matters, which isn’t uncommon of a metal record. Â Save the Humans is the first track that really made me eager to hear the rest of the album, but then it just kept getting better and better with tracks like False God and Cannibal King. As a whole, it’s a great album (especially for a debut). Â You can tell these guys have been playing music and it’s not their first record in general. Â If you like screaming that’s NOT annoying and awesome breakdowns, Of Legends will be your jam. Â Luis does an outstanding job at vocals, don’t let his other project, The Secret Handshake, fool you into thinking he can’t do metal…. because he CAN. With an ex- Periphery drummer and a handful of dudes from Sky Eats Airplane, I’m pretty sure they know what they’re doing… and it shows.
So pick up your fuckin’ copy of Stranded, out March 29th on Season of Mist, and catch them on tour now!
