0OM&M Announces New Vocalist
Former Sky Eats Airplace (Equal Vision) vocalist, Jerry Roush, has recently been announced as the permanent replacement for Austin Carlile (ex Attack Attack! vocalist/screamer), who was a founding member of the Rise Record’s band, Of Mice & Men.
Roush began by filling in for Carlise on The Emptiness Tour with Alesana, A Skylit Drive, The Word Alive and We Came as Romans. During that tour, the decision was made to keep Jerry on as a frontman, and the announcement was made via MySpace and in a feature/interview in Substream Magazine.
I never got to see the band live with Carlile at vocals, but I can say that Roush definitely has stage presence as a front man and I am confident that he’ll do a great job as a replacement. Of Mice & Men will be on the ENTIRE Warped Tour this summer, so one has to be coming around your town, go check ’em out! Whether you’re into this kind of music or not, these boys at least put on a good show and deserve your respect! Fo sho.
