Propagandhi Announces New Guitarist (HINT: IT’S A CHICK)
Yesterday on their Facebook page, Propagandhi dropped the news that they’ve found a replacement guitarist and her name is Sulynn. The new axe-slinger commented:
“Hey everyone! I’m Sulynn. I’ll be responsible for adding long hair head banging and stage left guitar riffage at Propagandhi shows from here on out. I’m from Tampa, Florida where I spend my days drinking lots of coffee, nerding out on the guitar for hours, running my own business teaching guitar, and squeezing in sweaty yoga sessions when I can. I feel beyond stoked to get to play with a group of guys who have influenced my playing and taste for a very long time. It’s gonna be a rad time, and I hope to get to share the experience with you all. Let’s rage!”
This is such great news! It’s refreshing to me that they didn’t pull someone already known from another band but yet found someone who is still going to kill it despite not already being known in the scene. The band accepted auditions and I’m guessing that she nailed that shit and now look at where she is! This is so great and I can’t wait to see them play with the new addition!
