0Propagandhi Is Taking War On Women On Tour Again
War On Women is a band that is having quite the last few months. After being signed to Bridge Nine Records, the band just announced they will be hitting the road, once again, with Propagandhi. Also on the tour is RVIVR, who joins the two bands today in Toronto to start the tour. The dates go through Eastern Canada and around the East Coast and Midwest, wrapping things up in Chicago August 20th.
If you were curious as to where this band’s name came from, you might want to peek the Wikipedia post above explaining what the term War On Women means. The actual band formed in 2010 in Baltimore and has described their sound as “thrash rock meets grrrrl” so that should give you a pretty clear picture on what they’re about. Their debut EP, Improvised Weapons, was released in 2012 via Exotic Fever Records and they have released their debut full-length and hit the road to support the record.
