Punk Rock Bowling Officially Postponed until 2021

I posted not long ago about Punk Rock Bowling 2020 being postponed until Fall of 2020.  But today, the festival announced they will postpone until the 2021 season. You can apply your 2020 pass to next year’s event, but if you cannot make the new dates, a full refund will be provided. A statement from the founder’s Mark & Shawn Stern is below:

After much deliberation and in an abundance of caution, we are sorry to inform everyone that we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Punk Rock Bowling Tournament & Music Festival until 2021. The current coronavirus pandemics rapid acceleration is a clear and ongoing threat to everyone, and we feel it’s in the best interest of the fans, bands, and all of our wonderful staff and partners that we do not risk anyone’s health.

Over the last six months, we put our heart and soul into making the festival the best PRB to date. Unfortunately, with travel up in the air, work visas for bands hard to obtain, and a precarious economy, we couldn’t in good conscience ask everyone to plan for a great weekend in Vegas with the possibility that we would be told two months out that it will not happen AGAIN. The world needs to plow through this pandemic and take some time to heal, and we want to give everyone that time.

Believe us when we say we are absolutely gutted that we have to announce that Punk Rock Bowling will not happen in 2020. We apologize from the bottom of our broken hearts.

We want to be as fair and as transparent as possible because we are all in this together. Your ticket will automatically apply for the new dates in May 2021, but if you cannot make it, you will have the option for a full refund.

Thank you for your continued patience and support as we try to navigate through these difficult times. We hope you are all safe and stay healthy to close out this year and we will see you in Las Vegas next year!

-Stern Bros. and the PRB crew!

Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival will continue to post updates on their website (punkrockbowling.com), as well as their social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). The festival will issue full refunds, or you can apply your 2020 pass to next year’s event.
