I am all about some central Florida punk rock and the guys of Red City Radio have poured their souls out for all of us to fall in love with on their latest full length. The only catch is that they are from Oklahoma City. Just goes to show that geography has little to do with making incredible leaps in innovative music. Comparable to bands like Hot Water Music, Nightlights, Polar Bear Club & The Menzingers. “The Dangers of Standing Still” grips you from track one and unfolds a soul filled journey to the hearts of these modern punk rockers. The four piece won me over from the rip and after researching the band’s history gained my respect instantly. I like most enjoy two six string Gibsons hammered upon by the hands of a great story tellers. Do yourself a solid and grab the album and catch Red City Radio live. Cheers.
