0Red City Radio Announces New Guitarist
Red City Radio recently said BYE PAUL, HELLO RYAN. Out of context, this may not make sense to you, but the fact of the matter is that their guitarist Paul Pendley has left the band (no drama) and Ryan Donovan (video above) has joined them. Ryan is most known for playing with Red Scare’s band, Nothington. I think it’s a perfect fit, that’s for damn sure!
RCR vocalist Garrett Dale said:
Hello Friends!
We know you’ve had a rough week after hearing the news our brother Paul would no longer be with Red City Radio.. Well, I hope this cheers y’all right up!
Help us welcome our new guitar player and long time friend RYAN DONOVAN to Red City Radio!!!!
Ryan will accompany us on all future tours including our Europe run coming up next month!!! He’s a great guy and he wants to party with you!
A whole shit ton of stuff will be coming your way very very soon.
This lineup change has happened, people. Or well, technically, Paul’s last show with RCR will take place April 12th in the band’s hometown of Oklahoma City at The Conservatory. You can buy tickets for that shit now. After that show, Ryan will join the band for an overseas tour, which you can check all the dates out on their Facebook.
For current Red City Radio fans, you might be wondering about the vocals that Paul sang. Him and Garrett shared most of the vocal responsibility, but now Garrett will take over as the main vocalist. You can still expect wonderful things out of these cheery ol’ bastards. They are really fun to watch live and I don’t expect that to change now.
