Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan

The music industry has lost yet another young soul in Avenged Sevenfold drummer, Jimmy Sullivan. According to reports, he was found dead December 28, 2009, at his home in Huntington Beach, California around 1 PM.
Avenged Sevenfold formed in 1999, and The Rev was a founding member of the band. Accomplishments include winning Best New Artist at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards and four full-length albums.
At only 28 years old, his death is not only a tragedy but a mystery. As of now, they are declaring natural causes.
The Rev will be greatly missed by family, friends and fans. The future of the band has not been discussed, as I’m sure they will be mourning his death before sorting out anything else.
